    Description

Kenric Laiwakete Opalized Ammonite Eagle & Bear Zuni Fetish
From Zuni Native American carver Kenric Laiwakete comes this gorgeous carving of an eagle and a bear.  It is carved from a large ammonite fossil with beautiful patterning within it and opalization at the center of it on one side.  The eagle is carved beneath the bear with its beak at the center of the ammonite fossil and inlaid turquoise eyes.  Kenric has inlaid a zigzag heartline in turquoise on one side of this fetish and triple turquoise heartlines on the opposite side.  Turquoise eyes are also inlaid into the medicine bear.   The ammonite fossil sits atop a large, beautiful arrowhead carved from rainbow fluorite, a translucent rock with stripes of green and purple running through it.  The arrowhead features rippled edges and is ⅜ inches thick.  The ammonite carving is pinned and glued to the arrowhead base, with turquoise chips surrounding it.   A truly unique and gorgeous fetish, this carving would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
It is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
