Authentic Zuni Apache tear hummingbird fetish carved and signed on the bottom by Jerrold Lahaleon
    Description and attributes:
This is a hummingbird carved from beautiful Apache tear with inlaid turquoise eyes. A very detailed, basically translucent smoky grey multicolor plump hummingbird preening it's wings--a frozen tear in time ready to be placed in a sunny window to bring out the stone's best coloration!
Approximate dimensions in inches are: 7/8" height X 7/16" width X 5/8" length.
Certificate of authenticity will be enclosed with your purchase.
The hummingbird is a symbol of beauty, wonder, and agility.
About 75 Apache warriors rode their horses off the side of a mountain in Arizona rather than be defeated by the calvary in the 1870's. Apache tears are said to be good luck stones that were formed by their loved ones tears falling on the ground--a frozen tear in time.
Turquoise is said to enhance the joy of life, warn of danger, heal sadness and grief, induce wisdom, understanding, strength, good health, courage, success, love, good fortune, and is called the lucky stone.
